So for the past month or so I have been battling INSOMNIA!! What is wrong with me!??? I used to be one of those people who lay in bed and fall asleep in a second! Nope...my easy breeze to dream land is over! I will lay in bed and be so so tired but yet cannot seem to shut my brain off and sleep!!! I know your thinking "Well why don't you blog the wee hours of the night away?" Well I just moved out all by myself(that will be my next blog as soon as I can get pics up) and I dont have a computer there! Or else you would all be hearing my complaints at 1:30 in the AM about how I can't sleep!! So during the day I'm drained! Which would make you think I would fall right to sleep the following night.....WRONG!! Another sleepless night! I even tried a sleeping pill once, and that was bad news cause my head felt like a freakin brick and still NO SLEEP :(
HELP! It's mid day and I'm starting to get cranky cause I'm sleepy! I know I know I'm like a three year old! But I need some serious direction!

IT SUCKS! I know! It is the most horrible feeling in the entire world. I used to get it SOO bad when I was at BYU. Luckly I kind of snapped out of it, but I am on this perscription now that causes it some nights, and it is HORRIBLE. I feel for you Jocelyn. Kaseys shower by the way is on saturday...I am not sure what time though...ask kailee because I dont think Kasey checks her blog very much...or ask lindsey. I dont think I am coming for it, but I have not decided for sure yet.
That is the worst, I used to lay awake for hours, rhett would be passed out, and I would lay there so bored, then eat or whatever, it sucked, I really feel for you. I don't have much advice, try getting up as early as you can in the morning, that has been making me tired! I know that is horrible advice, but the only other thing that helped me was stopping working out in the evenings. I used to go after work, get done by like 7 at night, then I was wide awake, that would actually give me energy, working out in the day or mornings make it so i am so tired at nights, 10 comes around and I am usually wiped out! I don't know if this will help, but I feel for you. Good luck with it!

Jocelyn-when I can't sleep, which isn't very often, I drink something warm like hot chocolate and read. Something about the warm drinks makes me calm down and reading is always the kick in the butt. OKay I know this is bad but I read the BOM to really help me fall asleep...sorry but it's boring late at night.
Hey, did you take a Rx sleeping pill? Those are horrid in my opinion. Try taking a half of a Unisom. They are over the counter and Prego women take them. Or, take 1 Melitonin (from Dixie Nutrition or anywhere) one hour before bed for a week. Should help set your internal clock right back to norm. Also, if your working out past 7 pm, MAJOR upper. Even though your tired. Your body/mind is still on gym mode. Try doing mind/body classes at the gym like yoga if you have to get your workout in late.

Adam has had this same problem lately and his mom found this drink to take before you go to sleep and it has helped so much. She found out about it from the wellness dr. I will find out what it is called and give you the details.....
